Breast Cancer Trials has been based in Newcastle since 1978 and conducts clinical trials across Australia and New Zealand from this region.

Our Clinical Fellowship Program supports emerging researchers dedicated to advancing breast cancer research and improving patient outcomes.

We are seeking a major corporate partner to support and potentially secure naming rights for this program – helping invest in the next generation of clinical research leaders.

  • Develop safer and more effective breast cancer treatments
  • Provide access to new therapies not yet widely available
  • Improve survival rates and quality of life
  • Shape national and international standards of care

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is a corporate partnership?

A corporate partnership is a longer-term, strategic relationship between a business and a not-for-profit organisation, built around shared values and measurable impact.

Unlike one-off sponsorships, charity corporate partnerships are collaborative and ongoing. They may include a combination of financial support, campaign alignment, employee engagement initiatives and joint awareness activities.

Through corporate partnerships, organisations work alongside Breast Cancer Trials to support clinical trials and breast cancer research while strengthening their own corporate social responsibility goals.

  • What is corporate sponsorship?

Corporate sponsorship is when a business provides financial or in-kind support to a charity in return for agreed benefits such as brand visibility, event recognition, or marketing exposure.

In a charity context, corporate sponsorship often supports a specific initiative – for example an event, campaign or research milestone. The relationship is typically focused on a defined activity and timeframe, with clear mutual benefits for both the organisation and the charity.

At Breast Cancer Trials, corporate sponsorship helps fund life-saving clinical trials and vital medical research, while also allowing businesses to demonstrate their commitment to meaningful community impact.

  • Benefits of Corporate Charity Partnerships with a Not-for-Profit

Partnering with a not-for-profit organisation like Breast Cancer Trials delivers both social and strategic value.

    • Measurable Impact: Your support funds breast cancer clinical trials that shape standards of care and advance breast cancer research.
    • Brand Trust & Reputation: Align your organisation with a respected medical research charity known for clinical excellence.
    • Employee Engagement: Provide meaningful opportunities for your people to connect with a cause that impacts families across the community.
    • Long-Term Shared Value: Charity corporate partnerships go beyond one-off campaigns, creating sustainable impact over time.
