40 Years of Life Saving Discoveries
Breast Cancer Trials first began in 1978 and since then we have grown to be the largest independent oncology clinical trials research group in Australia and New Zealand.
Our research program has improved the treatment of breast cancer, led to changes in the way breast cancer is managed and has saved millions of lives through research collaboration.
Above: Hear from some of our founders – Professor John Forbes AM, Professor Alan Coates AM, Professor Raymond Snyder AM and Professor Michael Green – about how the research group was formed.
Breast Cancer Trials are proud to have contributed to a significant improvement in breast cancer survival rates and falling mortality rates.
