The Clinical Fellowship Program

Supporting the next generation of researchers in breast cancer.

As the largest independent oncology clinical trials research group in Australia and New Zealand, Breast Cancer Trials (BCT) is pleased to present an opportunity for up to six Clinical Fellowships in 2025, to contribute to the scientific and clinical conduct of the BCT research program, as well as build capacity within BCT.

For more than 40 years, BCT has been conducting clinical trials research into the treatment and prevention of breast cancer and can boast:

  • More than 980 members
  • A research program that brings together 118 Institutions throughout Australia and New Zealand, and is expanding internationally
  • Contributing to over 1,310 publications, making significant contributions in advancing medical knowledge, treatments and preventative strategies
  • A history of over 17,481 participants in our clinical trials
  • A database of 22,000 supporters

These positions will provide an exciting opportunity for an early career researcher to be funded in a part-time capacity (1-2 days per week) for a one-year term, with a second-year application possible.

The Fellowships will commence in January 2025.
