2026 Annual Scientific Meeting
This will be the 47th year of the conference, and is the foremost meeting for breast cancer clinical trials research in Australasia.
Hosting a number of internationally renowned guest speakers including key Breast Cancer Trials (BCT) researchers, delegates include leading Australian and New Zealand medical practitioners and clinicians, and clinical trials management personnel.
The full and extensive program will include two days of scientific sessions covering timely reviews of breast cancer clinical trials, discussion of new protocols, future clinical trials research, and other research developments.
The ASM will also include abstracts, debates, and is followed by a Trainee and Early Career day on Saturday 1 August, which is aimed at trainees and early career professionals in medical, surgical or radiation oncology. We look forward to colleagues joining the meeting.
Sessions will be dedicated to key issues on the prevention and treatment of early and advanced breast cancer and to the supportive care of those affected. Current and future trials, and research directions, will be discussed and new approaches analysed.
The ASM is a great opportunity to network with research colleagues from around Australasia and the world, and to also hear new ideas for clinical trials in the future.
International Guest Speakers for 2026 include: Adjunct Professor Jana de Boniface, and Dr Sara Hurvitz.
We are currently working on the 2026 conference website which will go live in October.
