LEADERSHIP TEAM

Conjoint Professor Smith is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors having been admitted in 2000, a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and has held directorships in a number of small Start-Ups in the Biotechnology and Engineering arena.

She is a member of the BCT Finance and Audit Committee. Previously Conjoint Professor Smith was the Director of Business Development Energy at the CSIRO and CEO of The University of Newcastle Research Associates (Formerly TUNRA).

Conjoint Professor Smith holds a PhD in Veterinary Clinical Science from the University of Liverpool, a Master of Science in Steroid Endocrinology from the University of Leeds and Bachelor of Science Biochemistry (Hons) from The University of Stirling.
